Social Networking Sites

Most social networking sites seem to have the same idea. You make a profile, you share a bit about yourself, and you explore other who did the same while posting or sharing personal thoughts. Some include more pictures, and some include more words. Between Facebook and twitter, they’re mostly the same. Twitter however, is more concise and to the point with it’s character limits whereas Facebook can have a lot of nonsense and clutter. An idea of two others would probably be between Instagram and Tumblr. Both Instagram and Tumblr again share the similar makeup, but focus heavier on photos rather than the immense amount of text you’d find between Twitter and Facebook. All of these sites are very similar, majority of the difference I think comes from the build of the sites and whether it’s more picture or text oriented.
